iCandy Prams

At Glow Maternity and Baby in Barnstaple, North Devon we stock the entire range of iCandy prams for you to come and view, push about and have a full instore demo.

iCandy are a premium pram range - It was also the pram we decided on for our own baby boy Luka
We opted for the iCandy Peach in Sweetpea - But the Peach 2 has now been realeased in a range of new colours

Modern sleek curves combine with stunning fabrics and simplistic styling. Available in four fabulous colours; black magic, parma violet, silver mint and berry bon bon, the peach 2 offers all the functionality you need, from compact one hand fold to being able to convert into a double mode of transport - this upgrade is done simply with the addition of a peach blossom 2 converter. A great investment from the outset knowing you can grow your pushchair with your growing family!

The modern carrycot offers the lie flat position and is removed simply with one hand so as not to disturb your sleeping baby. We have to boast about the ease with which this pushchair folds - one simple smooth action allows the chassis to fold down, be picked up using the carrying strap and away you go, it really is that simple! All the original iCandy options of forward and rearward facing seat unit give you the ultimate versatile pushchair and you will really fall in love when you feel how easy it is to manoeuvre... It's quite simply a peach!

Placing your baby to sleep in the 'lie flat' position in a carrycot has many health benefits for your newborn. Recent research from the Health Visitor Direct Charity suggests that the 'lie flat' position can help spinal growth and vital organ development

Think I'm getting the hang of it now

Think I might even enjoy being a "blogger" - So today started early with Luka our youngest (22 months) waking my up by kissing me (bless! but it was 6am) spend the morning dashing about trying to get 7 year old son to brush teeth, choose lunch etc and trying to get older son (nearly 13) out of bed
Chloe our eldest is 14 and is brilliant at getting herself up, ready and off to school.
Ryan got up 5 mins before walking out of the door, and Mark walked Cayden (7) to school and left me with Luka who has a day off nursery on a Thursday.

It was my Thursday to open the shop so Mark got back from the school run and took over getting Luka dressed whilst I went to open up

Been a quiet morning in the shop, so have managed to unpack the pink lining order, get the new ones uplisted on our website and blogged posted about them on twitter and facebook

Phoned been non stop, lots of suppliers inviting us to their stands at the weekend for the Harrogate baby trade show which I am super excited about - We have lots of orders to place and on the look out for some new interesting items

The sun is out in Barnstaple today, so i'm hoping Mark will do a swap with me at school pick up time so I can walk to pick Cayden up with Luka as have a night of working on harrogate orders

Pink lining parcel arrived

Had a delivery from pink lining last thing yesterday as we were about to close...have just unpacked the order, priced and tagged and all in stock items can be found on our website here

First Blog post

Hi,

This is my first blog post - I am always very envious when I look at other peoples blogs and have always wanted to create one that I update - I have tried it before but failed miserably!

So here it is attached to our webiste so I have no excuse

I am Kate, married with 4 children and in my early (very early!) Thirties (OMG that sounds so old!)
I am no writer, but I do along with my husband Mark run our lovely maternity and baby store in a lovely town called Barnstaple, North Devon and hope you will enjoy my blog.

I hope to share with you my experiences of being a mum, wife and shop owner over my coming posts

Feel free to follow the blog (I think thats how it works) and if any rather more experienced bloggers out there want to give me some advice and tips that would be most welcome

Kate
